Coffee and Couple is a combination of a coffee shop and a clothing store near the Shilin MRT station. The design objective is to renovate the facade in order to increase visibility and revive the outdoor sitting area. A curved ribbon wraps around the corner to visually tie the two shops together. Against the bright background, the ribbon's prominent texture and vivid color serve to catch the eyes of subway commuters, eventually wrapping into the roof of an inviting verandah.
